Raising Standards in Pre-Hospital Care
While paramedics, doctors, and nurses have strong statutory registration, practitioners below paramedic grade — despite their vital role — have historically had no standardised register.

UKREMT Council Members
The UKREMT Council brings together experience from pre-hospital care, paramedic practice, military medicine, nursing, education, private sector provision and sports medicine. Council members support the responsible development, moderation and governance of UKREMT as a free managed voluntary register.
UKREMT Council roles are advisory and supportive. Council members may assist with moderation, governance development, professional insight and responsible growth of the register. UKREMT remains a free managed voluntary register and does not replace HCPC, GMC, NMC or other statutory registration.
UKREMT Patronage & Advisory Support
UKREMT is building a carefully selected patronage structure to support clinical credibility, education, public confidence and long-term development of the register.
Patron roles are honorary and do not involve statutory regulation, clinical governance responsibility, or approval of individual registrants. UKREMT remains a free, managed voluntary register and does not replace HCPC, GMC, NMC or other statutory registration.
